Mililani High School Track

Congratulations to Vera Simms who placed 3rd in the 300 hurdles &
7th in the 100 hurdles at the
Golden West Invitational Track Meet in California this Saturday
also congratulations to the boys 4x100m relay team
who won their event at the Aloha State Games
On that team was Brian Daniels, Gavin Doi, Jay Ofalsa & Kali French
Kali also won the 400m & 200m races & Brian won the 100m

Summer Track Practices will be held on Mondays & Thursdays 5:00 pm at Mililani Track
Cross Country practice will start at the gym at the same time

Summer Track meets will start June 17th, 8:00 am at Kaiser High School
These meets will be held every Saturday this summer till mid-July
cost is $12.00 for USA Track & Field Membership to compete at all the meets

Aloha State Games will be on June 10 & 11 at Kaiser
Running events will be all day on Saturday & most of the field events will be on Sunday

Congratulations to Vera Simms and Robby Philipp Mililani Track MVP's
Vera was also Female Athlete of the Year & Nissan Hall of Fame honoree along with track & tennis ace Erin Hoe
Gavin Ng was awarded Male Athlete of the Year for his accomplishments in Track, Baseball, Football & Soccer

Congratulations to the Girls Track team
for winning the 2nd place trophy at the State Championships
and congratulations to the Boys team for finishing 3rd.
State & school records were set by Vera Simms in the 100m high hurdles, 100m dash, & 300m hurdles

School records were also set by Ashlee Doi in the 3000m run
Daireyon Abrams in the 300m intermediate hurdles,
Robby Philipp in the 800m run, and by the girls 4x400 relay team of:
Kelsi Kojima, Michelle Murphy, Cherina Tucker, & Vera Simms
